Meet Kevin Vanden Berge, MD
Dr. Vanden Berge is a Stephenville native and a former Tarleton State University graduate. He received a double major in Biology and Chemistry at Tarleton State where he was recognized as the Outstanding Graduate for Chemistry and graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors. During his time at Tarleton, he received numerous accolades and scholarships. He received his medical degree from Texas Tech Health Sciences Center where he decided to pursue orthopaedics. During his time at Texas Tech, he performed research on pelvic ring injuries.
Following medical school, Dr. Vanden Berge completed his orthopaedic residency at UT Southwestern and Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he obtained vast experience in musculoskeletal trauma and fracture care. During his residency, he acted as assistant team physician to local high schools. He trained for four months in England at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital improving his orthopaedic expertise. Believe it or not, he even had the opportunity to fix a chimpanzee’s broken arm at the Dallas Zoo. Through these experiences, he has become well versed in numerous orthopaedic procedures and has focused on helping patients return to their active lifestyles.
Dr. Vanden Berge prides himself through his family. He met his wife Keri while they were both at Tarleton State. They married just after graduation and now have 3 sons. They stay plenty busy shuffling their boys around to and from practices and school events. As a family, they proudly serve the Lord, and dedicate their time to instill Christian beliefs and morals into their day-to-day walk.

He prides himself on communication with his patients and is always available for their needs. He is committed to serving the Stephenville and surrounding communities to the best of his abilities.
